IN THIS ISSUE 🌱

Good Morning {{first_name}}!

It’s (not) Tuesday - but today, we’re celebrating our 6-month anniversary! And what better way to celebrate than to share our Q3 Signals Report with you? Click the image below and download your report.

And then put it into an LLM that knows your business well (or if you have your LLM hooked up to HubSpot, even better), and use the prompt below to get personalized insights for your business!

I have attached the Signals Report: [QUARTER/YEAR] from 44fjord. Use it as the standard for reviewing the company below. Your job is to show me where this company's marketing lines up with what the report says is working right now, and where it falls behind.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

-Company name: [NAME]
- Website: [URL]
- This is: [my own company / a competitor / a company I'm considering working with]
- We sell to: [businesses / consumers / both], in [INDUSTRY] - What I know from the inside (optional, skip if reviewing a competitor): [e.g. our CRM, how leads are handed to sales, what we report on each month, where we think we're weakest]
- Other public sources worth checking (optional): [LinkedIn page, review sites, recent news, job postings]

GROUND RULES

1. Tie every judgment to a specific finding in the Signals Report. Name the section or statistic. If the report doesn't cover something you notice, say so instead of making up a benchmark.
2. Only use real evidence. Label every point as one of: Seen (publicly visible), Told (from what I shared above), Inferred (a reasonable reading of the evidence) or Unknown. Never invent numbers, traffic, conversion rates or tools.
3. If the evidence points in two directions, tell me. Don't tidy contradictions into a neat story.
4. Write in plain English that a founder with no marketing background could follow. No jargon without a one-line explanation.
5. Be honest about weaknesses, and just as specific about what's working.

STRUCTURE

1. Snapshot
Three or four sentences: who they sell to, how they seem to go to market, and the biggest gap between their approach and what the report says is working now.

2. Funnel review
Use the report's four zones: Attention, Evaluation, Commitment, Retention. For each zone give: - What you see - How it compares to the report (cite the finding) - Rating: Strong / Mixed / Weak / Can't assess - Why it matters for revenue, in one sentence

3. Missed signals
Buyers leave clues everywhere. Look across four types: marketing signals (how people engage with content and ads), sales signals (what happens in conversations and deals), industry signals (shifts in the market) and buyer psychology signals (what the ideal customer worries about and values). Where is this company picking them up, and where is it probably missing them?

4. One set of numbers
Do this company's channels look like they feed one connected system, where marketing and sales work from the same data? Or do they look like separate efforts, each reporting their own wins? Base this on what's visible (forms, chat, calls to action, gated content, how one channel hands off to the next) plus anything I shared.

5. Top three priorities
Rank three changes by likely impact. For each, say whether it's a foundation fix (CRM and data), a growth fix (website, lead generation, channels) or a measurement fix (reporting across channels), and name the report finding that supports it.

6. What to find out next
Five questions that would fill the gaps marked Unknown. If this is my own company, write them as questions to ask my team. If it's a competitor, write them as things to watch for over the next quarter. Keep the whole review under 1,500 words.

A big thank you for supporting 44fjord over the past six months! I’m proud to say that we went from an idea and a domain six months ago to now being a team of five people, building growth plans for companies.

P.S.
