I truly believe that AI can do wonderful things. But AI can also be widely misleading in terms of what it’s actually good at. And the misunderstanding of what AI is compared to automation is super common.
The number of calls I sit on where people talk about AI - without truly understanding AI other than ChatGPT and that it “should be able to do that” - is … a lot.

It can be really overwhelming to stay on top of everything they are updating. It can be minor tweaks here and there, but it can also be huge updates that change the way you do business.
But here’s the kicker. Most companies don’t stay on top of these updates. They invest time in increasing their spend by implementing solutions that they may already be paying for.

Here’s the thing about AI - it doesn’t fix the foundations. In fact, it probably just escalates the gaps and exposes the issues you already had. And often with a hefty price tag. That said, I do think every team eventually uses an AI agent somewhere in the funnel.
Audit first, then implement.
